Control panel is powered by tomcat under a windows server.

Build

  1. In source tree, merge everything to Master
  2. Login to Jenkins with user=buildadmin
    http://jenkins.sportlogic.net.au:8080/
  3. Select Control Panel -> build now

Deploy

  1. Remote desktop to banana2017.sportlogic.net.au as Administrator
  2. Control Panel war file is located in C:\SportLogic.CPanel\webapp, remove root.war and wait until root folder is removed.
  3. copy latest war file from C:\Users\Administrator\Dropbox\CPanel.WARs
  4. The tomcat is now hot deployed
  5. Note: The tomcat host manager URL is https://localhost:8643/host-manager/html

Troubleshoot

If the Dropbox’s war file is not updated to the latest build. Run dropbox from the desktop, to trigger a refresh.

If site.properties is updated, the control panel webapp needs to be restarted. Open the browser and follow shortcut for opening the tomcat manager.

Tomcat

If control panel is down, RDP to server as Administrator, find the Tomcat7_SportLogicNetJava8 process under window’s tray (bottom right). Double click to manage the tomcat.

Tomcat is installed at C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat7_SportLogicNetJava8

To troubleshoot Control Panel, go to the CP’s logs at C:\SportLogic.CPanel\logs
