It’s a big move, but in the interests of the entire Xero community. We’ve been communicating this to the Xero API community for a while, and with OAuth 1.0a being fully deprecated in March 2021, we want to ensure you have all the information you need to make the transition for you and your customers as smooth as possible.How this change affects your Xero API integrations:You can no longer create OAuth 1.0a private apps.All new apps will need to be created in OAuth 2.0.By 31 March 2021, you will need to move every custom API integration (private app) you’ve created to access your customer’s Xero subscription data to OAuth 2.0.
